Brian Minto Returns Dec. 30th

Heavyweight contender Brian “The Beast” Minto (28-2 17ko’s) of Butler, Pennsylvania will be making his return to the ring on Sunday December 30th at the Mountaineer Racetrack & Gaming Resort in Chester, West Virginia . Minto will headline the card tabbed as “Seasons’ Beatings” in a 10 round main event against Byron Polley (21-7-1 10 ko’s) of St. Joseph, Missouri for the vacant WBA Federcentro Heavyweight Title.. Minto states, “With a win on December 30th for a regional WBA belt, I hope to be world ranked again going into 2008 and eligible to fight for the WBA Heavyweight World Title.”

The six-bout card promoted by MTR Gaming will begin at 2pm and will also feature local USBA ranked lightweight, Verquan “The Show” Kimbrough (18-1-1) of Alliquippa, Pennsyvania in the 12 round co-feature against an opponent to be announced. Also, the undercard will showcase local heavyweight Jimmy Emrick (2-1), lightweight Mike Strauss (2-0) and welterweight Jesse Lubash (2-0) against opponents to be determined.
