Holyfield vs Ibragimov PPV Broadcast

Four-time world heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield seeks to become an unprecedented five-time world heavyweight champion on October 13, 2007, in Moscow, Russia when he challenges WBO World Heavyweight Champion Sultan Ibragimov in a 12 round bout that will be broadcast in the U.S. on Pay-Per-View..

The October 13 broadcast is live on Saturday beginning at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT and carries a suggested retail price of $34.95. The pre-show will begin at 12:30 p.m. ET/9:30 p.m. PT.

The fight card will be available in over 45 million homes. Due to the abnormal starting time – Saturday afternoon – for a pay-per-view boxing event, distributors will run replays through the night and into Sunday morning.

iN DEMAND will broadcast live at 1 p.m. ET on Saturday and follow with replays at 10 p.m. and 1 a.m. (Sunday). Direct TV will carry the event live beginning at 1 p.m. ET then run replays at 7 p.m., 10 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. (Sunday). All times ET.

The only heavyweight to win the title four times, Holyfield is extremely confident to win it a fifth, and ignores his detractors. “I really don’t focus on what people say. I am willing to get up every morning and train hard to become the best fighter that I can be. That’s what drives me. I am not into what the fans say – it is about 50/50 all the time. If I listened to it, my emotions would on a roller coaster. I understand that they have a right believe what they want. And I have a right to work hard.”
