Darchinyan in Connecticut for Next World Title Defence

(Bridgeport, USA: July 1, 2007) Australia's best boxer and IBF/IBO flyweight world champion Vic "Raging Bull" Darchinyan has arrived in Connecticut in the USA for his next world title boxing defence this Saturday night July 7 against Nonito Donaire at the Harbour Yard Arena in Bridgeport.

"I've had some great training and sparring sessions in Los Angeles during the last two weeks," said Darchinyan. "Everyone will see my power again this weekend and I am ready for another knockout win!"

31 year-old Vic "Raging Bull" Darchinyan, the Armenia born 2000 Olympian and Australian citizen is trained by Billy Hussein and in winning two world titles to date in his career, now has an undefeated record of 28 wins, 0 losses and 22 wins by knockout.
