Couch took their first battle on June 12th, 2004 via razor thin decision, and pulled out of a subsequent rematch that following December. Jaime, who fought the first fight just two days after her trainer, Tiny Ricci, passed away, put on a courageous performace and the two combatants combined to earn Ring Magazine's recognition as 2004 "Female Fight of the Year.."

On the line June 20th will be the vacant IWBF world super lightweight title. Jaime currently holds the IWBF world lightweight crown. Clampitt is a three-time world champion, having previously reigned as the IWBF super lightweight champion & a previous reign as the IWBF lightweight champion. In her last bout, Jaime defeated IFBA world lightweight champion, and world famous former Playboy covergirl, Mia St. John via unanimous decision. Couch, a five-time world champion, is coming off a decision loss to Ring Magazine's 2006 "Female Fighter of the Year" Holly Holm.

Jaime brings a 17-4-1, 7 KO's record into the fight against England's Couch, who comes in at 28-9, 9 KO's.
