Duddy decisions Strickland

18.05.07 - Unbeaten middleweight contender John Duddy (20-15 KO’s) won a dominating 10-round unanimous decision victory over Dupre Strickland (18-2-1, 7 KO’s) on Friday night at the Beacon Theatre in New York. Duddy, 27, was cut over his right eye in the 2nd round, but it wasn’t a factor for the rest of the way as Duddy was able to control the action with hard combinations and a strong jab. The final judges’ scores were 100-89, 100-89, and 100-90.
