Nevitt, 14-0 with five knockouts has become one of Chicago’s most popular fighters since turning pro five years ago. The two time World Kickboxing Champion's appearances are amongst the most hotly anticipated in the sport featuring a lights out ring walk of AC/DC’s Hells Bells.

The Nevitt/Griffin showdown will take place promptly at 9pm and will not be part of the SOLO BOXEO broadcast.
Said Pesoli of the bout, “I’m thrilled to give Mike this opportunity for a world title shot. Griffin is a very good fighter but Mike is always in terrific shape and this should be an excellent battle on an already action packed card.
Mike is very popular and we’re expecting a huge turnout on Friday night. The match up truly exemplifies a “fan’s fight” as only those in attendance will be able to see this world title bout.”
