"More like a fatted calf," said Bradley. "I want Francisco 'Panchito" Bojado, though by his appearance he should be called 'Paunchito.'
Co-promoted by Thompson Boxing Promotions and Gary Shaw Productions and world-rated No. 5 by the World Boxing Council and No. 9 by the World Boxing Association, Bradley (18-0, 10 KOs), from Palm Springs, Calif., wants to take on Bojado (16-2, 11 KOs), from Los Angeles in a battle of west coast contenders. Golden Boy Promotions, Bojado's new promoter, claims Bojado wants to be a world champ. But to become one he must meet the guy who is already on the way -- Timothy Bradley.
"Maybe fatty Bojado would be more interested in taking me on if he thought my ring name was 'Dessert Storm?" continued Bradley. "But if his promoters are serious about Bojado's intentions, let them know I have the table set for his next step."
