12.03.07 - By Per Ake Persson: Arena Box Promotion have announced that Fritz Sdunek will no longer train Mustapha Karagol, Sinan Samil Sam and Alpaslan Aguzum. Arena boss Ahmet Oener, who is Sdunek´s son-in-law, states he wants a full time trainer for his stars. Sdunek also trains the likes of WBO light heavyweight boxing champ Zsolt Erdei, cruiser prospect Aleksander Alekseev and supermiddle Mario Veit and has been instrumental in building the strong Universum stable..

Nothing official yet but it could be that the IBF boxing eliminator at cruiser between Marco Huck and Vadim Tokarev will go ahead April 21 in Germany. In the co-feature IBF middle champ Arthur Abraham will return. No comment from Sauerland Event, who are just in the middle of planning their spring schedule after Valuev vs Chagaev April 14 in Stuttgart.

Hammer Knockout promotes in Wolow, Poland, March 24, with welter Krzystof Bienias on top in a non-title ten-rounder. Rafael Jackiewicz is in the co-feature, also at 147.

WBA I/C jr middle champ Reda Zam Zam has parted ways with trainer Brian Mathiasen. Zam Zam will in the future be trained by Jan Thielemann, who handled Reda in the amateurs, and ex-pro Youssef El-Awad. Reda and Jan operates the Brabrand Boxing Club in Aarhus and he will train there from now on.
