Arthur Abraham: A Message for Miranda
01.03.07 - IBF middleweight champion Arthur Abraham revealed he wasnīt surprised to hear that Edison Miranda is a stranger to beauty contests. "I wish I could be judging beauty contests like Arthur Abraham, but fighters fight", Miranda had stated earlier this week. Just like during their brutal meeting last September, when King Arthur handed Miranda the first loss of his career despite fighting with a broken jaw for eight rounds, Abraham was quick to deliver the right answer.

"Iīm not surprised heīs not welcome at beauty contests. Thereīs no reason for him to be there," the unbeaten champion (22-0, 17 KOs) stated after his morning practice session in Berlinīs Max-Schmeling-Gym.
Miranda had also wondered about Abrahamīs next opponent, which has yet to be named. "He should not be worried too much about my opponents but focus on himself," King Arthur added. "If I failed to beat someone who has his jaw broken twice, I would end my career and work as a janitor." Abraham, a huge fan darling in Germany, will return to the ring at the end of April.
