Green & Williams Both Predict KO!

TULSA, OK — If pre-fight comments serve as any indication as to the action that will take place in the ring on January 4th at the Osage Million Dollar Elm Casino, than the action should be fierce when world rated super middleweight Allen Green battles former world title challenger Rubin Williams as both are predicting knockout victories..

“I have had a great training camp,” said Williams, 29-2-1, 16 KO’s. “I have been getting some great sparring in the gym with Jonathan Banks (NABO cruiserwieght champion) and Damon McCrary (undefeated prospect). I feel great and I am looking towards stopping Allan Green in 8 rounds.”

Green, on the other hand, doesn’t feel like Williams has the pop needed to produce any type of knockout. Green, who has had his last 10 opponents on the canvas, feels that he alone has the devastating power needed to end this bout early.

“You can’t go the distance with marginal guys and than say you’re gonna knock me out,” said Green, 25-1, 18 KO’s. “I respect Rubin’s skills but he is just not on my level. He has a built up record and doesn’t have the pop to knock anyone out in eight rounds. While I respect him, he is going to go to sleep on January 4th.”

Prior to scheduling the January 4th matchup, both fighters never held back with their verbal barbs, however things have calmed now and both fighters are intent on making their arguments in the ring.

“I am true gangsta,” said Williams, who hails from Detroit, MI. “I am not going to talk to much, I am gonna wait until I step in the ring and let my fists do the talking.”

“Alot of stuff has been said in the past,” said Green, of Tulsa. “While I respect him, he is really not that high profile of an opponent for me, so to waste time trash talking him doesn’t really make sense. I am just looking forward to January 4th.”

The two world class super middleweights will be the main attraction on ESPN2’s “Friday Night Fights” series. Former world title challenger Zahir Raheem, 28-2, 16 KO’s, will be in the main support bout against Ricardo Dominguez, 23-2-2, 15 KO’s. Holden Productions is promoting the event.
