Anthony Joshua back in the gym

Anthony Joshua is back in the gym in training for his April fight. Joshua took a little time off from his busy fight schedule after discovering a stress fracture in his back.

Now Joshua is back in the gym sparring, training and getting prepared for his bout on April 4th. After that he is expected to take part in the Kevin Johnson fight, therefore the TBE opponent we will see him fight next likely wont be a dangerous puncher or someone capable of upsetting Joshua as that would spoil the Johnson fight and end the Joshua express.

The level off opposition after the Johnson fight is then expected to be all decent ranked, high end journeymen or fellow prospect type opponents until he begins consistently fighting top 15 opposition.

The exciting point for Joshua and his fans will be towards the end of the year when he is having his biggest fights against the most interesting opposition. British showdowns and matchups with fellow undefeated fighters are expected to take place in the late 2015-2016 picture and from there on it will only be the biggest fights should he continue to handle competition as he has done so far.

The most important things for Joshua are to stay active, stay focused on each individual opponent and to keep training well for these fights. So far he has been nothing but a humble sportsman, but we know Mike Tyson started out this way until he started buying into his own hype leading to the Tokyo fight against Buster Douglas that fans remember so well. 25 years later it is still one of the biggest upsets in sports.
