Whippany Athletic Club Announces Grand Opening

The Whippany Athletic Club, a premier fitness and athletic performance center, will hold its Grand Opening this Saturday, September 21, 2013 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at their state-of-the-art facility located at 156 Algonquin Parkway in Whippany.

In addition to various demonstrations run by their certified trainers in a range of disciplines, the Open House will feature exercise classes, free food, music and giveaways, as well as a chance for one-on-one meetings with the trainers to find how they can meet potential clients’ individual needs.

The 10,000 square foot strength and conditioning facility welcomes and offers programs to members of all ages and fitness levels. From the serious athlete looking to take their training to the next level to the beginner looking to lose weight and get in shape, Whippany Athletic Club has everything necessary to accommodate each fitness goal.

What sets Whippany Athletic Club apart from other gyms and fitness centers in the area is that they offer boxing, and have a full size ring. Additionally, they are the only gym around that has a Hall-of-Fame boxer as a trainer, former heavyweight knockout artist Lou Esa.

The Open House will offer free body composition analysis and an opportunity to meet one-on-one with the club’s distinguished trainers, including among others, Head Boxing Coach, the former professional heavyweight knockout artist and Boxing Hall-of-Famer Big Lou Esa; Mr. New Jersey (2011) Chris Lentino; Prizewinning bodybuilder, former professional football player and NJ State Powerlifting Champion Ray Padilla; Boxing coach and well-known amateur boxing referee Barry Hyman; Popular boxing class instructor Coach Al Martinez; and Veteran U.S. Marine elite trainer Felix Erazo, strength and conditioning coach for numerous athletes including professional boxing and MMA fighters.

Radio station WDHA 105.5 F.M. will be on hand, with popular DJ and Whippany Athletic Club member Kim Mulligan broadcasting live from the gym.
