WBC (NABF) super lightweight championship Spadafora vs. Frankel on April 6th

Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack & Resort in association with 8-Time World Champion Roy Jones Jr. & TNT Promotionspresents “Live Championship Boxing” at The Harv on Saturday April 6th, 2013. In the Main Event, the vacant WBC (NABF) Super Lightweight Championship will be on the line when undefeated former IBF & IBC World Champion Paul “The Pittsburgh Kid” Spadafora steps into the ring with WBC (USNBC) former Champion “Red Hot” Rob Frankel of Denver, Colorado.

In what would be an astonishing feat, Spadafora looks to claim his 48th victory without a loss, the longest undefeated streak among any active boxer in the world today, & claim another Championship Title pushing him back to the top of the Super Lightweight Division that features such names as Juan Manuel Marquez, Brandon Rios, Danny Garcia, & Amir Khan. Spadafora is coming off of a unanimous decision victory over top contender Solomon Egberime in December.

The Mile High City’s favorite Frankel comes storming onto the stage winning 4 of his last 5 with his lone defeat as a tough decision to Cleotis Pendarvis, a fighter Spadafora is currently looking up to in the division as he’s scheduled to fight for the IBF Title Eliminator May 10th vs. vacated WBC (NABF) Titlist & #1 World Rated Dierry Jean on Showtime. Frankel has forever yearned for a shot at Spadafora, which he earned in January in a dominating performance over previous Spadafora foe Jermaine White.

A full evening of entertainment is in store including prospect Wilkins “The Hispanic Hurricane” Santiago taking on upset minded Mustafah Johnson, Joey “Hitman” Holt battling Austin “Speedy” Marcum, a classic “Cleveland vs. Pittsburgh matchup” between Omari Braxton & Chris “The Nightmare” Stallworth for city bragging rights, crowd favorite Billy “Hutch” Hutchinson facing experienced veteran spoiler Damon Antoine, & Heavyweights collide when newcomer Ed Latimore goes toe-to-toe with Donnie “Pitbull” Crawford.

Base ticket prices are VIP starting at $100, Section A $50, Section B $35 & Bleachers $25 plus service fee. Tickets can be purchased at Mountaineer Casino’s Players Club in person or by calling 1-800-80-40-HOT x8297 or online or Free parking. 1st pro bout 7:30 P.M. Bouts subject to change.
