WBA # 15 Blake Caparello v WBO # 14 Daniel McKinnon July 25 in Melbourne

Undefeated Australian light heavyweight Blake Caparello 16-0 is climbing the World rankings by putting together a string of impressive performances. Next fight for Caparello is scheduled July 25 against Contender semi finalist Daniel McKinnon 26-5.

I spoke to Blake Caparello and he had the following to say, “I’m looking forward to making a big statement in my next fight. I want the best fighters in the World and to get to the next level I need to put on an impressive boxing display against World rated Mckinnon. I have been training the house down and I’m ready for another great performance.”

McKinnon WBO # 14 has some credible wins on his own resume including a great win last fight out against Australia’s Mark Flanagan in Brisbane.

Caparello’s trainer Sam Labruna knows how important each fight is from now on. “Not only does Blake need to keep winning but he has to win impressively and dominate his opponents if he wants the bigger fights.” Labruna continued, “It’s time to pour the pressure on and show everybody just how good Blake is.”

This bout forms a great international doubleheader in Melbourne. The other co feature on the card pits two of Hatton Promotions heavyweight prospects against each other. Hard hitting undefeated heavyweight Australian Lucas Browne 16-0 against 6’7 Richard towers from the UK 14-0.
