Undefeated Canadian Prospect Brandon Brewer Set to Return May 11 in Shediac, New Brunswick
Fredericton, NB (April 4, 2013) – Fight fans in Shediac, New Brunswick, will have the opportunity to witness one of Canadian boxing’s fastest rising stars in action on May 11 when undefeated national contender Brandon “L-Jack” Brewer (6-0-1, 3KO) makes his much anticipated return to the ring at the Festival Arena. Brewer is part of what promises to be a exciting evening of pugilism promoted by Elmer Martin of Fightin’ Fisherman Promotions.
Although Brewer’s opponent remains TBA, the Fredericton prospect’s recent outings indicate an action-packed fight regardless of who “L-Jack” faces. After winning the Canadian Boxiana “Fans’ Choice” awards for Fight of the Year (with Francis Lafreniere) and Atlantic Fighter of the Year, its clear that Brewer’s popularity is on the rise throughout the Atlantic region. And for good reason! Since his epic battle with Lafreniere, Brewer has fought twice and won twice, looking impressive in both bouts.
Brewer started off the new year in style, earning a hard fought unanimous decision victory over relentless body puncher Teddy Reno of Halifax via Calgary in February, keeping his undefeated record intact. “L-Jack’s” impressive showing in February was followed by a stunning second round knockout of highly touted Montreal prospect Glisandy “Thunder” Mejia at the Moncton Lions Club in March.
Tickets will be released to the public shortly.
