“The Pugilist KOrner” is honored to feature current IBF Junior Welterweight Champion Lamont “Havoc” Peterson (31-1-1, 16 KOs) and his prolific trainer Mr. Barry Hunter. The current world champ will discuss his impressive TKO performance against former title holder Kendall Holt on ESPN’s “Friday Night Fights” this past weekend. The humble fighter will also talk about his future in the most talent enriched division in boxing, the 140 pound weight class. His trainer Mr. Barry Hunter will also discuss Tony “The Tiger” Thompson’s KO performance against previously undefeated Heavyweight prospect David Price, which took place this past Saturday in Liverpool, England.
“The Pugilist KOrner” is also privileged to welcome back enthusiastic boxing manager Luis Decubas Jr. The lifelong boxing proponent will discuss his prizefighter, Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero’s, upcoming bout with Floyd Mayweather Jr. on May 4th, which is scheduled to be held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mr. Decubas Jr will also talk about Breidis Prescott’s upcoming March 30th date on HBO Boxing After Dark, and the impact of the HBO vs. Showtime network gauntlet.
Returning to “The Pugilist KOrner” will be undefeated Junior Middleweight prospect Jermall Charlo (10-0, 7 KOs) and elite level trainer Mr. Ronnie Shields. The talented Houston based duo will discuss their upcoming event this Saturday night in San Antonio, Texas. The highly anticipated bout will be televised on Fox Sports, Fox Deportes, and Fuel TV. The highly touted fighter will announce his opponent for this weekend’s big fight on tonight’s show.
Making his debut on “The Pugilist KOrner” will be Middleweight prospect J’Leon Love (15-0, 8 KOs). The hard punching Michigan native will discuss his impressive performance against the very durable Derrick Findley, which took place in Detroit, Michigan, this past weekend and was broadcast on Showtime Championship Boxing.
“The Pugilist KOrner” is honored to welcome to the show for the first time Super Featherweight prospect Mark “Too Sharp” Davis (27-6-3, 15 KOs). The talented pugilist will discuss his lengthy period of inactivity and inability to get the best fighters in the division to meet him in the ring. The entertaining young athlete will also enlighten us about his boxing roots and background.
