The Pugilist KOrner: Lamont Peterson, Virgil Hunter, Deontay Wilder, Bryan Vera, and Raul Marquez

Tonight at 9PM EST/6PM PST, “JEK III Productions” presents another packed, six guest edition of “The Pugilist KOrner”!!

The two hour program will feature IBF Junior Welterweight Champion Lamont Peterson, elite level trainer Virgil Hunter, Light Heavyweight contender Edwin Rodriguez, Heavyweight prospect Deontay Wilder, Middleweight contender Bryan Vera, and former 1992 Olympian Raul Marquez on tonight‘s live broadcast.

Kicking off tonight’s program will be IBF Junior Welterweight Champion Lamont Peterson (32-2-1, 16 KOs). The 30 year old fight veteran will discuss his impressive title defense over IBF number one ranked challenger Dierry Jean, which took place this past Saturday night in Washington DC. Peterson will also talk about his future in the talent enriched 147 pound weight division, as well as his immediate spot at 140.

Making his way to the back to “The Pugilist KOrner” will be elite level trainer Virgil Hunter. The always astute boxing coach will discuss his continuously growing stable of fighters, including Alfredo Angulo, who has a big PPV match up with Canelo Alvarez on March 8th, as well as Amir Khan, who is a candidate for the May 3rd fight date with Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Kicking off the second hour of “The Pugilist KOrner” will be Heavyweight prospect Deontay Wilder (30-0, 30 KOs). The hard punching fighter from Alabama will talk about his upcoming bout with fellow American hopeful Malik Scott on March 15th, as well as other Heavyweight events on the boxing calendar.

Also returning to “The Pugilist KOrner” will be Middleweight contender Bryan “The Warrior” Vera (23-7, 14 KOs). The always tough Texas based fighter will discuss his March 1st meeting with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in San Antonio, Texas, as well as his future at 160 and 168 pounds.

Closing out the two hour program will be former 1992 Olympian Raul Marquez. The Showtime commentator will talk about the business of boxing, as well as the cold war between promoters and networks alike. Raul will also look back at this professional and amateur fight career.

Tonight’s two hour program will be hosted by producer and radio commentator James E. King III, and boxing writer and ring announcer Joseph Herron.
