The Chase: Taking Shape

EJKO Promotions’ Cannock boxing block buster – ‘The Chase’ – is taking shape.

Errol Johnson is bringing professional boxing back to the area with a bumper night of boxing at the Chase Leisure Centre on Saturday, 4th October.

Stafford’s undefeated super middleweight, Grant Cunningham, and Telford scrapper, Kieron Gray, top the bill as they battle it out to be crowned British Bronze Masters Super Middleweight Champion.

Undefeated Stoke welterweight Josh McLaren will be looking to make it 5-0 when he faces Bulgarian scrapper, Danny Donchev. Josh’s cousin, Kieran McLaren, is also on the card. The light welterweight, who has enjoyed a solid amateur career, is turning pro meaning the McLaren’s will be boxing professionally together for the first time.

Stoke Lightweight Andy Keates will be looking to build on his British Silver Masters Title victory over Danny Carter earlier this year when he takes on dangerous Worcester Warrior, Michael Mooney.

Completing the card is Chester light welterweight, Nathan Clarke, who faces Tamworth’s evergreen Matt Seawright.

The show takes place at Chase Leisure Centre, Stafford Road, Cannock, Staffordshire, WS11 4AL.

Tickets, priced at £30 and £50 Ringside, are available by calling 07891 263 167.
