Tahdooahnippah: “I won’t be denied!”

image002Less than two weeks from meeting Delvin Rodriguez on February 15, 2013 in the main event on ESPNs Friday Night Fights, undefeated middleweight “Comanche Boy” George Tahdooahnippah is ready. “This is the fight I’ve dreamed of my whole career. It’s my chance to shine and show the world a real Native American warrior. I won’t be denied.”

Tahdooahnippah and Rodriguez are scheduled for 10 rounds at the Mohegan Sun Casino & Resort in Uncasville , Connecticut , Rodriguez’s home state. Being in “enemy territory” is no problem for Comanche Boy, who will be bringing a contingent of fans from Southwest Oklahoma . “I’m bringing a charter bus and vans full of Comanches. My dancer, rappers and drum group will all be in the house. Our Comanche Tribal Chairman, Wallace Coffey and some of our tribal council leaders will be attending. Comanches are coming in full effect.”

With a strong fan base ringside, Tahdooahnippah will feel right at home as he takes the stage for the biggest fight of his career. “I’ve put in the hard work, and look forward to the challenge Delvin Rodriguez is going to bring. He’s been in a lot of fights with some good competition, but he’s never faced anyone like me- a real wild Comanche! I know he is a proven warrior, but it is my time to shine!”
