Rivan Cesaire Inks With Xcite Fight Promotions!

Xcite Fight Promotions are delighted to announce the signing of Welterweight boxer Rivan Cesaire. Sporting a 10-3 (3 KO) record, Cesaire will look to end 18 months of inactivity when he faces Alex Ahtong on April 4th at the Southport RSL. The Jamie Myer Productions bout will be broadcast live on Fox Sports.

Known as “The Maestro,” Cesaire represented Cameroon at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne and has since called the Victorian capital city his home. Cesaire has impressive victories against Steven Maxwell, Brad Hemming, Jason Kanofski, Todd Kidd and Tim Hunt on his resume. His bout with Hunt earned him the IBO Asia Pacific title.

“I’m looking forward to getting back in the ring and fighting. I’m really happy about signing with Xcite Fight and moving forward again,” Cesaire said. “My goal is to win the Australian title and then the Commonwealth title. That has always been my dream. After that, the world title”.

“We’re looking forward to having Rivan back in the ring and hopefully challenging for the Australian title soon,” Brendan Bourke said. “When he approached us to manage him we believed he would be a great addition. He’s prepared to fight anyone”.

Trained by John Scida, Cesaire will need to get past the rugged Ahtong who is rated #7 at Welterweight by the ANBF before he can even think about setting his sights on current Australian champion Fred Tukes.
