Oleksandr Usyk Wins Fourth Pro Fight, Stops Cesar David Crenz In Four

Odessa, Ukraine (May 31, 2014) 2012 Olympic Heavyweight Gold Medalist OLEKSANDR USYK won his fourth professional fight this evening with a dominant fourth round stoppage of Argentinian veteran CESAR DAVID “El Ruso” CRENZ in front of a packed house at the Sport Palace in Odessa, Ukraine.

Dominating Crenz with a terrific jab and piston like power shots, the southpaw Usyk controlled the action from the opening bell.

Dropping Crenz in the third with a massive left hook to the chin, Usyk drilled him back to the canvas in the fourth with a heavy-handed left to the body ending the scheduled eight rounder at the 2:12 mark of the stanza.

Usyk heads to 4-0-0 (4KO’s) with the stoppage while Crenz moves to 21-9-0 (13KO’s with the loss.

Said Alexander Krassyuk of K2 Promotions Ukraine, “This was another terrific win for Oleksandr in front of a sold out house at the Sport Palace. The support he’s received from media and fans has been overwhelming and we look forward to announcing his next fight in the near future.”
