“Miguel Cotto and Wladimir Klitschko” edition of “The Pugilist KOrner’s: Weekend Wrap”

Tonight at 9PM EST/6PM PST, The Sports Krib proudly presents a very special “Boricua Pride” edition of “The Pugilist KOrner’s: Weekend Wrap”!!

In the first segment of tonight’s program, Joseph will discuss the brilliant 3rd round TKO victory for future Hall of Famer Miguel Angel Cotto over fringe contender Delvin Rodriguez, as well as the entire HBO fight card, which took place from two different locations; Orlando, Florida, and Moscow, Russia.

The writer will also take a look at Wladimir Klitschko’s dominant victory over formerly undefeated Alexander Povetkin, as well as the virtual shut-out performance of Terrence Crawford over Andrey Klimov.

At the thirty minute mark of tonight’s show, “The Pugilist KOrner” is honored to feature elite level trainer Ronnie Shields. The lifelong boxing mentor will discuss Miguel Cotto’s performance last night and examine his future at 154 pounds or a possible catch-weight bout with Sergio Martinez in 2014.

Ronnie will also talk about future bouts with his ever growing stable of fighters, including Edwin Rodriguez, Bryan Vera, Erislandy Lara, and the Charlo twins from Houston, Texas.

In the final segment of the show, we will be joined by master strategist James Gogue. The knowledgeable fight trainer will talk about last night’s performances by Miguel Cotto, Wladimir Klitschko, and Terence Crawford.

The insightful boxing coach will also preview the big Tim Bradley/Juan Manuel Marquez showdown, which has been slated for an October 12th PPV on HBO. Mr. Gogue will outline the strengths and weaknesses of both combatants, while mapping out strategies for Bradley and Marquez.

Tonight’s show will be hosted by Boxing writer and ring announcer Joseph Herron, as well as producer James King III.
