Martin Murray vs. Max Bursak tonight in Monte Carlo
Leading boxing television rights distributor and sports marketing firm Octapixx LIVE is proud to announce that the KO AT THE CASINO boxing telecast, taking place on June 21 in Monte-Carlo, Monaco, and featuring three championship fights punctuated by the return to the world stage of middleweight sensation Martin Murray and the rise of WBA/IBO minimumweight champion Hekkie Budler, will be seen on television by millions of sports fans all over the world. The event, taking place at the historic Casino de Monte-Carlo, is presented by Monte-Carlo SBM and promoted by Golden Gloves Promotions.
The world’s best strawweight, Hekkie Budler (25-1, 8 KO) will make a statement on the world stage, defending his IBO and WBA Strawweight Championships against dangerous Pigmy Kokietgym (52-6-2, 22 KO). Budler’s high-action style is tailor-made for television.
Two of the world’s top cruiserweight contenders, Mateusz Masternak (32-1-0, 23 KO) and Youri Kayembre Kalenga (19-1, 13 KO) will clash for the interim WBA Cruiserweight Championship in a must-see battle between two thunderous punchers.
Martin Murray (27-1, 12 KO), who would be a middleweight world champion today if not for hometown decisions that favoured past opponents Sergio Martinez and Felix Sturm, continues his ascent to stardom, facing Max Bursak (29-2, 12 KO) for the WBC Silver Middleweight Championship. Murray is the favourite, but Bursak is a former international titlist who must not be overlooked.
This triple championship event will be broadcast all over the world, including on SuperSport in Africa, BoxNation in the UK, Esporte Interativo in Brazil, Digi Sport in Hungary and Romania, Inter in the Ukraine, Polsat in Poland, Ma Chaine Sport in France, and BBTV Channel 7 in Thailand in addition to live and tape delay telecast on many more broadcasters and in many more countries worldwide.
“KO at the Casino is a world class card that will showcase rising boxing stars in can’t miss championship action bouts,” says Lowell Conn, Vice President at Octapixx LIVE. “Monaco continues to host some of the most intriguing boxing events in the sport and Octapixx is delighted to be marketing these events worldwide.”
