Fedosov vs Harris at Horseshoe Casino

Russian heavyweight contender ANDREY FEDOSOV will make his highly anticipated return to battle this Friday night, APRIL 18 in a scheduled eight round clash against perennial contender and tough veteran MAURICE “Mo Bettah” HARRIS at “FIGHT NIGHT” at the Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Indiana, just outside of Chicago.

Advance tickets starting at $25.00 for “FIGHT NIGHT” presented by Hitz Boxing in association with Round 3 Productions are available at all Ticketmaster outlets, The Venue/Horseshoe Box Office and Doors open on the night of the event at 7:00 p.m. CT with the first bell at 7:30 p.m. CT.

The 28-year-old Fedosov, 24-3-0 (19KO’s), was last seen battling evenly with top rated heavyweight Bryant Jennings over six rounds on JUNE 14, 2013, before the fight was abruptly and controversially stopped due to a cut suffered by the hard hitting Russian.

“Andrey was very disappointed by the stoppage, he’s fully capable of competing at the elite level in the heavyweight division while Harris is a very tough competitor and a strong test for him” said Bobby Hitz, President of Hitz Boxing of the now Chicago resident Fedosov.

“The heavyweight division, particularly in the United States is very active with the World Boxing Council title being vacant and our plan for Andrey is to move him right in the mix if he beats Harris.”

Fighting out of East Orange, New Jersey, Harris, 26-18-2 (11KO’s), has fought numerous world champions and top rated contenders, most recently losing a hard fought, close 12-round decision to Amir Mansour in August 2013.

Also featured in separate bouts at “FIGHT NIGHT” will be the highly anticipated return of Chicago’s most popular, DONOVAN “Da Bomb” GEORGE, 24-4-2 (21KO’s) in an eight round super middleweight clash against TROY LOWRY, 28-13-0 (17KO’s) of St. Paul, Minnesota and “Hollywood” MIKE JIMENEZ, 13-0-0 (10KO’s) battling San Diego, California based veteran, BRANDON “El Cubanito” Gonzalez, 12-12-4 (6KO’s) in a six round light heavyweight tilt.
