Dimar Ortuz pulls out of “Night of the Rising Stars” due to injury

Chicago, IL, Thursday, August 15, 2013–Bobby Hitz announced today that Dimar Ortuz (9-0, 6 KOs) has informed him that due to injury he will have to pull out of the upcoming “Night of the Rising Stars” card on Friday, August 30 at Cicero Stadium in Cicero, IL. Ortuz, a dynamic cruiserweight from Chicago, injured himself serving as sparring partner working with other boxers training for their upcoming fights. A deal was in place for him to fight unbeaten Rafeal Murphy (6-0, 6 KOs) of Chicago.

“Hitz Boxing looked forward to welcoming Dimar back to the ring, this was going to be a great test for him” said Bobby Hitz. “What a horrible setback this is, I had just made him the Murphy offer the night before and then this happens. We wish him a speedy recovery.”

“FIght Night of the Rising Stars” features Antonio “Aztec God of War,” Canas, Ricardo Chavez, Fidel Navarette, Roy Navarro, Adan Ortiz and Semajay “The Truth” Thomas who will be making his pro debut.
