Slick boxing welter Isam Kahlil, A man for the future!

By Teddy Stenmark

04.03 - Swedish welterweight 10-0-2, Isam Kahlil, who boxes under the guidance of former Swedish National team trainer Leif Carlsson (Starfights Gym in Stockholm) and is tied to the Nordic Stable Modern Sports & Events, was featured in the Swedish magazine "Sport Guiden" recently and in the article he invites the readers to visit his web-site (www.isamkahlil.com). Check it out! It's well worth a peak!

The southpaw-prospect who never reached the number 1 spot in the Swedish Senior nationals as an amateur but was a promising teenager (Swedish Youth champion) is with out a doubt eying a bright future. Isam has worked as a chief sparring for World rated Paolo Roberto for a long time but is now slowly been making a name for him self as well.

Kahil is considered an awkward boxer, hard to hit and very loose in the upper body. Although only receiving a draw in his latest outing in Berlin on the 8th of February against Julio Meran, it is obvious that he is destined for some bigger things ahead and his unbeaten record is still intact. Always Sporting a humble side to his fellow companions in this the hardest of Sport, Isam makes no secret of what his ambitions are to the reporter of Sport Guiden.

"I am aiming for the World title and I can already feel the belt around my waist". The slick boxing Swede is tentatively scheduled to box in Hamburg, Germany on the 29th of March so keep an eye out for the good- looking Swede right there! He is an underestimated boxer with loads of talent, plenty of skills and tons of guts. With the right fights he could go a long way!
