TUAMAN READY TO RE-RUMBLE!

TUA AND CEDRIC KUSHNER INK EXCLUSIVE PACT

LAS VEGAS, NV (March 31, 2002) – Top-rated heavyweight contender DAVID TUA is revved-up and ready to return to the ring.

Upon returning to his Las Vegas-based training camp yesterday, the Tuaman made it plain what is on his agenda – FIGHTING!!!

"It was a great fight," said Tua. "But it was not my best fight. I have no excuses, Hasim Rahman took some great punches. But I know I am capable of better and I have resumed training for another rematch with him and finish this business once and for all."

Tua and Rahman fought to a 12-round draw in their HBO-televised 12-round IBF heavyweight title elimination bout, last Saturday, at the First Union Spectrum in Philadelphia, PA.

"David Tua is not only the most important heavyweight contender in the game today, but in the words of the WBO, the ‘best classified contender available'," said Cedric Kushner, president of Cedric Kushner Promotions, Tua's exclusive promoter. "We have already informed the IBF of David's desire for an immediate rematch."

"David came out of the Rahman fight in great shape and resumed training last night," said Kevin Barry, the Tuaman's trainer and co-manager. "We did not work and sacrifice these past 18 months to settle for a draw. Team Tua is on a mission to win the world heavyweight title and we will not be deterred. Cedric knows what we want and we have full confidence he will help us reach our goal. That is why we selected Cedric to promote us."
