Philip "No Deal" Holiday Continues Comeback

10.11 - The comeback of former IBF Lightweight boss Philip "No Deal" Holiday continued successfully on Friday night in Melbourne, Australia when the 30 year old won a ten round split decision over 33 year old Australian Super Lightweight Title holder Fred Kinuthia.

Official scores were 97-92 97-93 and 94-95.

Holiday's record is now 38-5-1,22 KO while Kinuthia drops to 7-1, 4 KO. Both boxers weighed a fraction above 141 lb. It was Holiday's second win in six weeks.

Meanwhile, in Mt Claremont, Western Australia, on Saturday night, IBF Pan Pacific Super Middleweight Champion Danny Green (13-0, all KO) predictably knocked out former PABA MiddleweightChamp Nico Toriri from Indonesia in three rounds.

On the u/c to Green - Torri, WBC #2 Super Welter Nader Hamden (30-0, 15 KO) scored a five round TKO over Indonesian Singkat Pasaribu and classy Sydney based Guyanan Gairy St Claire ( 24-3-2, 11 KO) and Australian James Swann (3-5-3, 0 KO) drew over ten rounds.
