Atilla Levin To Fight In Germany on Oct.4

01.10 - Highly regarded heavyweight Attila "The Hun" Levin, who's promoted by Cedric Kushner Promotions and co-trained by the legendary Angelo Dundee, returns to the ring Oct. 4 when he faces Kenny Craven in a bout in Zwickau, Germany.

The 26-year-old Levin has a record of 27-1 with 21 knockouts and has won 13 straight, 10 by knockout.

Levin has fought twice this year, on a Cedric Kushner Promotions' "Everlast Heavyweight Explosion" card May 24 in Reno, Nev., when he took a 10-round unanimous decision over Fernely Feliz and on April 18 in Tampa, Fla., when he stopped Gary Winmon in the first round.

The 6-foot-4-inch, 245-pound Levin, who's originally Stockholm, Sweden, but now lives in Miami Beach, Fla., is fighting in Germany for the first time.

However, this is not his first fight in Europe. Levin has two wins in Denmark, both coming during 2001. During October of that year he knocked out Troy Weida in the third round and six months early he halted Miguel Otero in the second.

"I'm looking forward to fighting in Germany," said Levin. "It's been too long since I've fought in Europe.
"I want to keep busier from here on and appear in bigger fights and get ranked in the top 10 in the word in 2004," said Levin.

"Attila's ready to come out and shine, starting with this fight," said Dundee, who, along with Luis Lagerman, co-trains Levin. "Fighters come on at different times, and Attila's time is now."
The 32-year-old Craven, from Ellisville, Miss., has a record of 21-9 with 18 knockouts and has won his past three bouts, all by KO.
