Jacboxing Promotions Debut in Nigeria

24.07 - The time is ticking and it's count down time
for young aspiring Nigeria-American born promoter Ike
Enwereuzor, born in Brooklyn, New York but raised in
Nigeria is the CEO & President of Jacboxing Promotions
where his Boxing operation is handled and Jacular promotions
handles all his entertainment activities. Ike Enwereuzor
has become a real influence in African Boxers since
the 1990's.
He's persived as the next Don King on the making with
only dedication and ambition, Ike has learned in and
out of the game of Boxing and has been involved and
attended many world championship bouts. He has contributed
his work with numerous publications including Newspapers,
Magazines, Internet sites and he hosts his own Television
Show in New York City, called "The Jacboxing Show
". The show coveres variety of Sports activities,
exclusive interviews, entertainment issues, Modelling,
Film, Music and more.
This young man is expected to put his company, Jacboxing
Promotion, on the line when he makes his Boxing promotional
debut in his Father's land, Nigeria in August 2003.
A press Conference is in the works for this July in
various States in Nigeria, including Lagos, Abuja, Benin,
Enugu, Port Harcout, Owerri Aba and more. This event
will be co-promoted by Platnium Gloves Promotions based
in South Africa, plus promoters from Australia, Argentina,
New Zealand, Kenya, Ghana, Uganda, London, USA and more.
This event will attract press from all these countries
who will be attending press conference in Nigeria this
July. These promoters will bring there Boxers who will
participate on this Super Bout happening in Nigeria,
August promoted by Jacboxing Promotion and Co.
This Super bout expected to feature 1992 Olympics heavyweight
Silver Medalist, David Izon, also 1992 Olympic super
heavy silver medalist meets Richard Igbineghu for Nigerian
Title, Nigerian featherweight champion, Sunday Okolie
challenges for African featherweight championship. Akeem
Akinbode challenges Fatai Onikeke for Nigerian welterweight
championship. Former Nigerian Heavyweight Champion Adewale
Abe will face opponent to be announced. American and
Former IBO welterweight champion Willie "Slick"
Wise takes on Australia and former Commonwealth champion,
Julian Holland on a special rematch on the Nigerian
soil. "This is history, said Ike Enwereuzor, we
want to put food on these boxers table, we hope the
government and company can assist us through".
This card will also feature former African champion
Mike "Bomber" Kizza of Uganda, plus Ibrahim
Labran of Ghana and more

African Reggae artist, Majek Fashek will grace the
occassion with a national athernm and he's expected
to appear in numerous show this summer in Houston, TX
July 25& 26, in New Orleans, La Sept 27, plus Oakland,
Ca and Maryland negotiating show currently for Majek
Fashek who is currently working on his new album in
Holywood, Calif.
