BRIAN VILORIA FACES JAVIER LAGOS FOR THE VACANT NABF TITLE

30.08 - -DiBella Entertainment's sensational flyweight Brian "Hawaiian Punch" Viloria (8-0, 6 KOs) will now take on Javier Jaibo Lagos (14-7-1, 4 KOs) of Mexico, a late replacement for Gabriel Munoz of Mexico (29-11-1, 18 KOs), for the vacant NABF flyweight title in the 12-round main event of "Black Tie Boxing" at Cipriani at 42nd Street in the heart of New York City this Friday night, August 30, it was announced by Thomas Gallagher Productions, Inc.

Munoz fell out of the fight when he failed his physical, resulting in Lagos as the 11th hour replacement in the main event.ESPN/2's Friday Night Fights will televise the action beginning at 10:00 PM/ET. Tommy Gallagher's inaugural Black Tie Boxing was a sell-out at the swank Grand Central location earlier this year.

The card will also have a distinct New York flavor. A number of the co-featured contests will bring a bevy of undefeated New York City products advised by DBE president Lou DiBella into the Big Apple spotlight. In the co-feature, unbeaten Jeffrey Resto (12-0, 8 KOs) of the Bronx, fresh off an impressive third round TKO over Livingstone Bramble, will take on Emmanuel Clottey (18-4, 12 KOs) in a 10-round junior welterweight affair.

In addition, popular Bensonhurst fighter Paulie "Magic Man" Malignaggi

(9-0, 3 KOs) faces Anthony Simpkins (9-3-1, 5 KOs) in a six-round junior welterweight contest, while undefeated Israeli junior middleweight Yuri Foreman (5-0, 3 KOs), fighting out of New York City, returns to Cipriani for a six rounder against Jose Luis Almanzar (4-0-1, 2 KOs). Sechew Powell (1-0, 1 KO), a top rated amateur from Brooklyn who won his pro debut on August 17 at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City on the Tua-Moorer undercard, will get an opportunity to fight in front of the home town fans vs. Jonathan Taylor (3-0, 2 KOs) in a four-round junior middleweight match.

Luis Collazo (16-1, 8 KOs), another Brooklynite, takes on Vincent Harris (9-7-2, 6 KOs) in a welterweight six-rounder; junior welterweight Gabe Bracero (5-0), also of Brooklyn, is matched against James McClendon (2-1-1, 2 KOs) in a four-round junior welterweight bout; and Tarvis Simms (11-0, 5 KOs) meets Derek Whitley (18-17-1, 9 KOs) in a six round middleweight bout.
