WBO announces referee and judges for Quillin vs. Rosado fight for Saturday
SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO- World Boxing Organization (WBO), by president Francisco “Paco” Valcarcel, announced today the referee and judges who will work this Saturday, October 26, in the title bout between the middleweight champion Peter “Kid Chocolate” Quillin against Gabriel “King” Rosado, to be held at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey, in a Golden Boy Promotions presentation.
Valcarcel said that for the second defense of the 160 pounds belt between the champion Quillin (29-0, 21 KOs) and the #9 ranked Rosado (21-6, 13 KOs), the referee will be Allen Huggins.
Meanwhile, the judges for the Quillin-Rosado clash are Waleska Roldan, Ron McNair and Kason Cheeks. The WBO supervisor for this fight will be Istvan “Koko” Kovacs.
The bout between Quillin and Rosado will be broadcast on Showtime this Saturday at 9:00 p.m.
