Former three division world champion Adrien “The Problem” Broner (28-1, 22 KOs) who mentioned in an interview with Brian Kenny he’s going to be looking to capture his 4th division world title in the near future when he goes after a world title at the 140lb division. Is making a return to the ring tonight in his hometown of Cincinnati Ohio at the U.S Bank Arena vs Emmanuel Taylor (18-2, 12 KOs). Once this fight is out the way who will he face?

WBC/WBA and Ring magazine super lightweight champion Danny “Swift” Garcia (29-0, 17 KOs) coming off an easy match off Rod Salka with an explosive left hook which dropped Salka in the 2nd round for an easy highlight reel was indeed aware that many of the boxing fans considered this a cherry picking fight however the immediate question arises who is next?

IBF Champion Lamont Peterson (33-2-1, 17 KOs) defeated a game Edgar Santana (29-5, 20 KOs) in his last bout on the GarciaSalka undercard. Peterson looked well throwing heavy body shots and boxing well in the ring raising yet another question? Who is next for him?

Making recent noise about a possible match up with Danny Garcia is P4P eight division world champion and future hall of famer Manny “Pacman” PaquIao (56-5-2 KO 38) Who is scheduled to meet with recently crowned champion Chris Algieri (20-0-0 8KO) in a catch weight bout at 144lb were PaquIao looks to regain his power he has lost since moving up in weight only having 3 KO in his last 11 fights.

Then you have a list of possible world title threats such as Former Champion Lucas “The Machine” Matthysse (35-3-0 33KO) who will be in action tonight in the co-main event vs Undefeated Mexican Star Roberto Ortiz , KO artist Ruslan Provodnikov (23-3-0 16KO) who always poses a threat with his come forward style , Undefeated Jessie Vargas (25-0-0 19KO) who will be facing Former Lightweight champion Antonio Demarco in November in Macau , Upset minded Mauricio Herrera (21-4-0 7KO) who many believe was robbed against Danny Garcia , John Molina Jr who gave a FOTY notable bout against Matthysse will be fighting next week on the Mayhem undercard vs Mexican veteran and former champion Humberto Soto.

The list seems to go on and on one thing is for sure there is a variety of fantasy matchup in the division. A fight fan can only dream of the big fight while the matchmakers hold the pieces of the puzzle in their hands. Awaiting the outcome of future fights and anticipating glorious bouts together we hope for nothing but the best.

Other notable contenders and future champions, Viktor Postol, Thomas Dulorme, Henry Lundy, Mikey Perez, Frankie Gomez, and Antonio Orozco.
