Pacquiao: Basketball Head Coach in the PBA
It is official! Manny Pacman Pacquiao, the lone boxer in history of boxing to win titles in 8 different divisions was proclaimed as the head coach of Kia Motors team in the Philippine Basketball Association, the longest basketball league in Asia and the most popular sport in the country.
Pacquiao who is also a congressman of Sanggani, Philippines has appeared on several billiard tournaments in Manila where he became victorious.
This time, it is the hardcourt of the famous Araneta Coliseum he vows to conquer once the round robin of the league starts which is roughly 2-months from now as the mastermind of the team.
Pacquiao, in an interview with the press in Manila said that this is not his first time to do a coaching job and boasted that he has scouted and formed a team already back in his province of General Santos many years ago where he was also the captain of the team where he played as a playing coach with the position of a point guard.
One of his nephew apparently as reported who bears a Pacquaio surname will be joining the PBA draft and he guaranteed that his relative will be their first pic.
Pacquiao also does not mind playing alongside his nephew who is 6’4 in height. Pacquaio the boxer is 5’7.
