Now that it is signed, the talk on whether the fight between WBA/WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather and WBO 147 pound champion Manny Pacquiao will ever be made can be put to rest with them both now signed to face each other two months from now on May 2nd, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. Instead, we can now focus on the particulars, and who has the actual advantage once they collide in the center of the ring.

One person who has an obvious interest in the fight, as well as unique insight, is Jeff Mayweather, the uncle of Floyd Jr. While it can’t be argued that he is clearly biased in his opinion, he still has knowledge of the skills both possess that most of us looking on from the outside don’t have. And for him, the reason Floyd Mayweather Jr. will win is quite simple.

“He is a one trick pony,” Jeff Mayweather said when asked to break down what Pacquiao brings to the table.

For someone like Mayweather, who is widely regarded as one of the smartest fighters in the game, which should make it pretty easy to solve Pacquiao’s puzzle. If he can’t change things up, Jeff Mayweather thinks it will make for a long evening for the Filipino superstar.

“Manny is a very predictable fighter. He does 1-2, 1-2-1-2, 1-2-3-4. That’s it.”

Obviously you don’t reach the level of success obtained by Pacquiao if you are as basic as Mayweather claims, so that may be a bit of an exaggeration. However, Pacquiao will need to be as unpredictable as possible if he plans on being the first person to put a defeat on Mayweather Jr when the two fighters face each other on May 2nd on HBO and Showtime pay-per-view.

Jeff Mayweather also announced that he, Roger and Floyd Mayweather Sr. have started their own official YouTube channel which you can subscribe to by going here. Additionally, they will be providing EastsideBoxing.com many of those videos before they can be found anywhere else on the internet, so stay tuned to this site for more great content from inside the Mayweather Boxing Club.
