Lausanne, Switzerland, March 26, 2014 – Following a request from the Florida State Athletic Commission to clarify the WSB boxers’ eligibility after incorrect information was provided to the body by the USA Knockouts assistant coach, the World Series of Boxing (WSB) has offered to postpone the first leg of the USA Knockouts vs. Cuba Domadores WSB quarter-final which was due to take place on March 28 in Florida. Lausanne, Switzerland, March 21, 2014 – A little more than a week ago, the World Series of Boxing (WSB) Regular Season ended after ten outstanding weeks of boxing. With no time to breathe all focus is now on some of the most exciting quarter-finals the competition has ever had in its four seasons.
Germany vs. Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan vs. Italy, Russia vs. Ukraine, USA vs. Cuba, all the world’s best boxing nations are represented in the WSB Season IV Playoffs. Lausanne, Switzerland, March 19, 2014 – The International Boxing Association (AIBA) and the World Series of Boxing (WSB) have announced today that both legs of the WSB quarter-final match between the Russian Boxing Team and the Ukraine Otamans will be maintained on a home and away basis.
The first leg will be held on March 30 in Moscow (Russia), and the second leg on April 4 in Donetsk (Ukraine). Continue reading

The landmark reminded us that the Italia Thunder are the only team to have maintained an unbeaten record at home across all four WSB seasons so far, but that almost changed tonight…

With the Hussars Poland definitely unable to qualify for the World Series of Boxing (WSB) Playoffs, and the defending Champions, the Astana Arlans Kazakhstan, already guaranteed a place, you would be forgiven for thinking that both teams would back off slightly. Lausanne, Switzerland, February 28, 2014 – In the last week of the Regular Season Group B promises more outstanding bouts and intriguing matches. None more so the announced return to the ring of World Champion Julio La Cruz from Cuba. La Cruz was the victim of an armed robbery exactly eight weeks ago this Saturday, which saw him shot in the hip and undergoing surgery to remove the bullet.

Lausanne, Switzerland, February 28, 2014 – In yet another exciting week of action in the World Series of Boxing (WSB), Group A is set to feature some incredible bouts between some of the world’s top fighters.
With things remaining close at the top of the group, the Dolce & Gabbana Italia Thunder will hope to extend their lead over the Ukraine Otamans. World Champion Clemente Russo is also looking for a return to form after losing his last two WSB matches.
Their opponents have other ideas however. With third place in sight for the USA Knockouts, they are hoping to cause an upset in Italy, whilst Team Germany is set for a tough away match in Buenos Aires with the Argentina Condors. Continue reading
