The first contest ended in controversy when Camacho allegedly bit the Welshman on the neck and referee Martin Williams disqualified him. Until the point of stoppage the fight had just began to heat up and ‘The Kid’ Kennedy landed hurtful punches that cut Camacho under the eye.
