Nelson Retains WIBA Belt in Dominating Affair; Jeter Defeats Lange

Fairfax, VA – Two years since their first rough-and-tumble affair that saw Tony Jeter upset Jimmy Lange in a controversial decision, the Maryland-based boxer once again defeated the popular Northern Virginia fan favorite in front of the Patriot Center crowd, earning a majority decision along with the North American Boxing Association’s USA middleweight belt. From the opening bell, the two ring warriors slugged it out for ten rounds, treating fans to another competitive battle But, it was once again Jeter, currently 17th rated by the World Boxing Council, using a steady stream of effective upper cuts, body punches and aggressive pursuit of Lange that helped him earn the victory. Two of the DMV’s most popular boxers will square off again in a highly anticipated, 10-round rematch on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014 at Patriot Center, Jimmy Lange Boxing officials announced today. Tickets, starting at $50, are now on sale for “Lange-Jeter 2: The Rematch” presented by Jeff Valcourt and Valcourt Building Services, through all Ticketmaster outlets and the Patriot Center Box Office. The North America Boxing Association’s (NABA) vacant USA Middleweight belt, as well as the possibility of moving up in the World Boxing Association’s (WBA) ratings, will be on the line as well. Jimmy Lange vs. Tony Jeter on October 27th

Fairfax, VA (August 29, 2012) – In a much-anticipated ten-round middleweight battle, Jimmy Lange (38-4-2, 25 KOs) will square off against Tony “Mo Better” Jeter (13-3-1, 9 KOs) in the Main Event of the October 27th Jimmy Lange Boxing card at the Patriot Center. Lange has fully recovered from an injury suffered in training camp that caused the bout to be postponed from taking place last June.
