Middleweight champion Hammer (15-0, 7 KOs) takes on Mexicos Carmen Garcia (10-2, 5 KOs), while Super Featherweight ruler Kuehne (20-1, 6 KOs) squares off with Renata Domsodi (11-3, 5 KOs) from Hungary.

Also on the card, promoted by SES Boxing, will be former world heavyweight title-challenger Francesco Pianeta taking on undefeated Robert Teuber, and an interesting all-German Cruiserweight clash between undefeated Dennis Ronert and former top-contender Kai Kurzawa.

Ramona Kühne Retains WBF World Title

World Boxing Federation Women’s World Super Featherweight Champion Ramona “The Dragon” Kuehne returned to the ring after a fourteen month injury lay-off to successfully defend her title on Saturday night, March 2, at the MBS Arena in Potsdam, Germany.

More than 3000 fans in the arena saw Kuehne dominate Brazilian challenger Halana Dos Santos for ten rounds, and score a one-sided unanimous decision: 100-90, 100-90 and 99-91. She improves her professional record to 20-1 (6), while Dos Santos falls to 14-5 (9). Continue reading

WBO Announces Judges For Nietes-Fuentes, Sor Singyu-Ambunda, Kühne-Dos Santos

SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO- World Boxing Organization (WBO), by president Francisco “Paco” Valcarcel, announced today the referees and judges who will work this week in the world title bouts to be held in Philippines, Namibia and Germany.

This Saturday, March 2, at the Cebu City Waterfront Hotel & Casino in Barangay Lahug, Cebu City, Philippines, the WBO junior flyweight champion Donnie Nietes (31-1-3, 17 KOs) will make his first defense against the WBO minimum weight champion Moises Fuentes (16-1, 8 KOs), from Mexico. Ramona Kühne Defends WBF World Title

After almost fourteen months out of the ring due to injury, World Boxing Federation Women’s World Super Featherweight Champion Ramona Kuehne is back!

On March 2 at the MBS Arena in Potsdam, Germany she will defend her title against Halana Dos Santos from Brazil. This will be the fourth defense for Kuehne, 19-1 (6), who won the WBF crown in 2010. Continue reading
