Nielsen brothers have it all to prove on Saturday night

Patrick and Micki Nielsen headline a hometown show at the Albertslund MusikTeatret in Copenhagen on December 13. Defeat is not an option for the Danish boxing brothers, who have it all to prove when they enter the ring on Saturday night.

Nielsen, Keller and Khattab in action as the Nordic Fight Night returns on September 13 in Copenhagen

Following a summer break the Nordic Fight Night returns on September 13. As always the event will showcase Scandinavia’s top boxing talent including rising Danish stars Micki Nielsen (14-0, 11 KOs), Torben Keller (10-0-1, 3 KOs) and Abdul Khattab (7-0, 3 KOs). Nielsen disappointed with defeat, vows to come back stronger

Patrick Nielsen (22-1, 11 KOs) was unable to complete his Moscow mission. The 23 year-old southpaw travelled to the Russian capital with the hope of capturing the interim WBA World Middleweight title from undefeated champion Dmitry Chudinov (13-0-2, 8 KOs). However after twelve rounds of action fought in front of a partisan crowd at the Mytishchi Arena the Dane found himself behind on all the judges’ scorecards. Continue reading

Nielsen and Chudinov make weight ahead of interim WBA World Middleweight Championship clash in Moscow

Patrick Nielsen (22-0, 11 KOs) and Dmitry Chudinov (12-0-2, 8 KOs) both made weight ahead of their WBA World Middleweight Championship clash at the Mytishchi Arena in Moscow, Russia on Sunday night.

Patrick Nielsen: 72.3 kg
Dmitry Chudiniv: 72 kg

Patrick Nielsen’s younger brother Micki is also in action. Micki Nielsen (13-0, 10 KOs) faces Igor Pylypenko (4-16-2, 1 KO) in an eight round cruiserweight contest.

Micki Nielsen: 94.2 kg
Igor Pylypenko: 91.2 kg

Today’s weigh-in took place at the Sexton Centre home of Russian motorcylcle club the Night Wolves.
