WBF world middleweight champion and WBO world number 8 Les “Lock N Load” Sherrington today came face to face with his opponent in Friday night’s clash on “Smithy Brings The Big Fights 4”, Jorge Gomez Perez.

Sherrington and Suico make weight

The fighters for tomorrows “Domination” fight night at the Townsville RSL stadium have made weight. Local hero and current WBF world middleweight champion Les “Lock N Load” Sherrington came in just under the middleweight limit as did his opponent in the 12 round main event, Philippine star Randy Suico. The pair will clash tomorrow night for the WBO Asia Pacific Middleweight title and guaranteed top 10 ranking in the world WBO middleweight rankings. Continue reading

Current WBF Middleweight world champion Les “Lock N Load” Sherrington today came face to face for the first time today at the final press conference with his opponent, Philippine star Randy Suico.
Both fighters of the main event for Friday night’s “Domination” fight card expressed their confidence leading into what they both perceive as one of the biggest fights of their careers.
