Poulsen: Let’s get it on!

Kim Poulsen (26-1, 7 KOs) is ready to let his hands speak in the battle for the WBC Baltic Welterweight title against Swedish Anthony Yigit (11-0-1, 4 KOs) on Saturday night at the Arena Nord in Frederikshavn, Denmark.

“Yigit is a good guy, but he’s talking a bit too much. I prefer to let my hands do the talking,” said Poulsen, who is convinced that he can give the Swede more resistance than Kasper Bruun did a year ago. Continue reading

Kim Poulsen (26-1, 7 KOs) has all the motivation he needs ahead of his WBC Baltic Welterweight title showdown with Anthony Yigit (11-0-1, 4 KOs) on February 7 at the Arena Nord in Frederikshavn. The Danish boxer aims to add another title to his collection and silence his outspoken Swedish rival.

News: Poulsen vs. Saponja Added To Euro Event Card; 2012 Busy Year for Bryant Jennings

When Danish promotional outfit Euro Event closes out the year with a show on December 15 at the Gigantium Arena in Aalborg, the card will feature an interesting Light Welterweight fight between Kim Poulsen (21-1, 6 KOs), and Croatian banger Veljko Saponja (8-1-1, 5 KOs). A former World Champion Kickboxer, Saponja is much more experienced than his ten professional boxing bouts suggest, and he is expected to give the 25-year-old Dane a tough test before possible title fights in 2013.
