ORANGE, Calif. (April 23, 2015) – Lightweight standout Jose Roman (19-1-1, 13 KOs) highlights Thompson Boxing Promotions “Locked n’ Loaded” event Friday night from the Doubletree Hotel in Ontario, Calif.

At Thursday’s weigh in, Roman came in at 137 lbs., while his opponent, Martin Cardona (18-4, 13 KOs) tipped the scales at 134.5 lbs. The Roman vs. Cardona main event is scheduled for eight rounds. Continue reading

(Sept. 27, 2014) – Jose “Gato” Roman dominated Hector Velazquez, one of the most experienced boxers in the lightweight division, and with that resounding victory, successfully defended his WBC CABOFE Lightweight Championship in the 8-round “Path to Glory” main event promoted by Thompson Boxing Promotions.
