In the main event on SHOWTIME, Unified Super Lightweight World Champion Danny “Swift” Garcia will face the hungry “Lightning” Rod Salka in a 10-round welterweight bout. In the co-feature, IBF Junior Welterweight World Champion Lamont Peterson will risk his title against veteran contender Edgar Santana in a 12-round match. WBA announce Jarrod Fletcher vs Daniel Jacobs for World middleweight title

The WBA middleweight picture became a lot clearer overnight with the WBA passing down their decision on the special permit requested by champion Gennady Golovkin to avoid Brisbane’s Jarrod Fletcher. Cohen Announces Signing of WBA #5 Middleweight Jarrod Fletcher

528Promoter Greg Cohen of Greg Cohen Promotions is proud to announce he has formed a promotional partnership with Adam Wilcock of Australia-based FightCard Promotions to sign WBA #5 middleweight and current PABA Champion Jarrod “Left Jab” Fletcher (15-1, 9 KOs).

29-year-old Fletcher, of Hervey Bay, Queensland, was a 2008 Olympian and highly decorated former amateur, holding victories over accomplished professionals such as James DeGale and Adonis Stevenson. Continue reading
