Iron Mike Productions (IMP) signs 2012 Ukraine Olympian Ievgen Khytrov

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. (May 29, 2014) – Iron Mike Productions (IMP) has signed undefeated 2012 Ukraine Olympian Ievgen “The Ukraine Lion” Khytrov (4-0, 4 KOs) to a promotional contract. IMP will co-promote Khytrov with New York-based Fight Promotions Inc.

Ievgen Khytrov Impressive In Pro Debut

NEW YORK (DECEMBER 19, 2013)– In his much anticipated pro debut former amateur world champion, Ievgen Khytrov took at Christian Nava in round one of a scheduled six round Super Middleweight bout at a SOLD OUT Webster Hall in New York City.

The show was promoted by Dmitry Salita’s Star of David Promotions in association with Fight Promotions Inc. and was sponsored by the Fight Factory Gym in Brooklyn.

Khytrov came out and landed some hard shots but that did not deter Nava as he even came back to land a few of his own shots. Finally towards the end of the first round, Khytrov showed his class and started hurting Nava with both hands. Finally at the end of the round, Khytrov leveled Nava with a powerful left hook that sent him on the canvas. Nava courageously got to his feet but stumbled back and referee Gary Rosado stopped the bout at 2:57 of round one. Continue reading

Ievgen Khytrov has Arrived – Webster Hall – December 18

World Amateur Middleweight Champion Ievgen Khytrov arrived at JFK today where he was met by his New York promoter Dmitriy Salita.

Khytrov will hit the fast track December 18 at Manhattan’s Webster Hall when he makes his pro debut as the main event on Salita’s Star of David card.

Khytrov, 25, has over 500 amateur fights starting as age 13. His knockout record is over 80%. The highlight of his career was when he captured the World Amateur Middleweight Championship in 2011 defeating 2012 Olympic Gold Medalist Ryota Murata of Japan in the finals. Continue reading
