Gavin vs. Vassell

Gavin and Vassell make weight for Saturday’s fight

gavinVassellPoster_lo Frankie Gavin weighed-in spot on the welterweight limit of 10st 7lb and Denton Vassell at 10st 6lb 9oz at the official weigh-in today for their epic showdown tomorrow night at the Liverpool Olympia.

Birmingham star Gavin puts his British title on the line against Manchester Vassell’s Commonwealth belt, live and exclusive on BoxNation (Sky Ch. 437/Virgin Ch. 546).

Both fighters are unbeaten in their careers and it pits Gavin’s smooth, counter-punching, skills against the come-forward, all-action, style of Vassell.

Ellesmere Port’s Paul Butler, the Commonwealth Super-Flyweight Champion, and challenger Najah Ali both weighed in under for their chief-support title fight on the show.

The show will be televised live from 7pm on BoxNation (BoxNation (Sky Ch. 437/Virgin Ch. 546). Join at www.boxnation.com
