Denton Daley Announces New Team for Upcoming Hershey Centre Fight

Mississauga, Ont., June 16, 2015 – In preparation for his return to the Hershey Centre on August 29th, WBA #8 ranked cruiserweight, Denton Daley, has announced the formation of a new fight team to guide him on his mission to claim the world championship.

Chris Amos will be taking on the role of Head Coach, while former two-time world title challenger Troy Amos-Ross will be backing him up as Assistant Coach. Don McDonald will continue on in his role as Daley’s Promoter and Craig Bongelli as his Strength and Conditioning Trainer. Continue reading

United Boxing Promotions Announces Three More Ontario Fight Dates!

On March 28, United Boxing Promotions kicked off its Spring boxing season with a bang, staging seven fights, featuring a mix of popular veterans and exciting prospects. It was one Ontario’s most intriguing boxing shows in recent memory. Logan McGuinness pitched a near shutout. Donovan Ruddock scored an improbable come-from-behind knockout. Ryan Young – for the first time – was taken the distance. Local favourites Kevin Higson and Junmar Emon went toe to toe for eight hard rounds. Tim Cronin blasted out New Brunswick light heavyweight prospect Travis Connors in under three rounds. Last, but certainly not least, undefeated super featherweight Josh O’Reilly kept his perfect record intact. Talk of March 28 is still echoing throughout Canadian boxing circles, but United Boxing Promotions is right back at it, scheduling three additional Ontario fight cards, slated for May 9 at Steakhouse 17 in Mississauga, June 27 at the Ajax Community Centre, and August 29 at the Hershey Centre in Mississauga. Undefeated Canadian cruiserweight Denton Daley positioned for world title shot

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, Canada (May 29, 2014) – Undefeated Canadian boxer “Dangerous” Denton Daley (12-0, 6 KOs) is positioned to bring the world cruiserweight title back to North America after a seven-year hiatus.

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, Canada (February 19, 2014) – The No. 1 cruiserweight in North America, undefeated NABA champion “Dangerous” Denton Daley (12-0, 6 KOs), pitched a complete shutout last Saturday night against veteran Andres Taylor (21-6-2, 8 KOs), winning all 12 rounds on each of the three judges’ scorecards, at Hershey Centre in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.

The 31-year-old Denton, who is rated No. 6 by the World Boxing Association (WBA), controlled the action from the opening bell despite aggravating a hand injury. Denton Daley defends title Feb. 15 in Canada

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, Canada (January 22, 2014) – Undefeated North American Boxing Association (NABA) cruiserweight champion “Dangerous” Denton Daley (11-0, 6 KOs) is set to make his second title defense Saturday night, February 15 against veteran Andres Taylor (21-5-2, 8 KOs) at Hershey Centre in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.

Denton is a 31-year-old Brampton native, who trains in Kitchener, Ontario, and is rated No. 7 by the World Boxing Association (WBA) and No. 14 by the World Boxing Council (WBC).
