According to the Manila Bulletin, Manny Pacquiao will soon cross the ropes to face Timothy Bradley in a rematch that many Pacquiao fans have been clamoring for. The fight is set to take place in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on April 12, 2014.

This fight undoubtedly gives both fighters a shot at sweet redemption.

By beating Pacquiao again, Bradley can finally get rid of and step out of the shadow that their last fight cast on him. Not only was it a lackluster fight for the fans, but Bradley’s victory was ridiculed and unaccepted by the majority of the boxing fans as well as the media. After Adrien Broner suffered his first professional loss to Marcos Maidana this past Saturday night, the feeling of impending drama was fierce.

Maybe it wasn’t the loss itself, but instead the way Maidana took over and made it look like a high quality sparring session. Broner, the young champion that has been making high waves in the boxing community, suffered a similar fate as Andre Berto, who also appeared like a possible boxing sensation before the limit of his boxing ability was exposed.

Now, after all is said and done, Marcos Maidana and his team are under formal investigation for possibly, cheating. In a video posted by TMZ, Alex Ariza is holding a napkin, and at one point, in a low quality replay, looks like is placing a while pill-sized object onto the napkin, and then bringing that napkin to Maidana’s mouth.

pac04 Like an avalanche, the possibility of a Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight in the near future is starting to swallow people whole.

After Pacquiao secured a solid victory over Brandon Rios, Manny Pacquiao fans began chanting an ever ancient, never forgotten mantra of a showdown between Floyd and Manny. Not only was this idea elevated by Pacquiao’s performance, but it was also fed by certain, barely relevant and indirect statements by Top Rank’s Bob Arum, and lately by Mayweather J. himself.

Now, it seems that Pacman is joining in, by suggesting that on his next visit to United States, he intends on meeting with Team Mayweather and discussing the potentiality of the fight.
