Five American Champions to Open the 2015 World Series of Boxing Season for the USA Knockouts Tonight

(COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO.) – Five newly minted U.S. champions will take the ring for the USA Knockouts on the opening weekend of the 2015 World Series of Boxing season. Saturday’s showdown of the Americas will feature a match-up between the lone United States squad and the Argentina Condors in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Light flyweight Nico Hernandez (Wichita, Kanas), bantamweight Fernando Martinez (Dallas, Texas), light welterweight Tyrek Irby (Oxon Hill, Md.), middleweight Anthony Campbell (Covington, Tenn.) and heavyweight Joshua Temple (St. Louis, Mo.) will all compete in opening day action at the Stadium of Argentina Boxing Federation. USA Knockouts reveal line-up for World Series of Boxing, Season V

(COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO.) – The USA Knockouts team has announced the names of the boxers who will compete for the United States in the World Series of Boxing (WSB) Season V.

The USA Knockouts team will consist of light flyweight Nico Hernandez (Wichita, Kansas), flyweight Brent Venegas III (Sacramento, Calif.), bantamweight Fernando Martinez (Dallas, Texas), lightweight Carlos Balderas (Santa Maria, Calif.), light welterweight Tyrek Irby (Oxon Hill, Md.), welterweight Brian Ceballo (Brooklyn, N.Y.), middleweight Anthony Campbell (Covington, Tenn.), light heavyweight Steven Nelson (Colorado Springs, Colo.), heavyweight Joshua Temple (St. Louis, Mo.), and super heavyweight Cam F. Thirty-Seven Young Boxers Take National Titles at the 2015 Junior and Youth Open in Reno, Nevada

(RENO, NEVADA.) – The third annual Junior Open and Youth National Championships concluded on Friday with 36 final rounds bouts at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nev. The day’s action featured several multiple champions reclaiming the top spot in the country along with newcomers enjoying their first gold medals at the national level. The winners in the junior weight classes and women’s youth divisions will get the opportunity to compete in world championships competition while the youth males will prepare for continental action.
