50-year old Heavyweight Contender Bronco Billy Wright at the WBC Cares Event

LAS VEGAS (December 18, 2014) – Last night 50-year old WBC Heavyweight contender, “Bronco” Billy Wright (46-4, 37 KOs) was on hand at the WBC CARES event which took place at the Richard Steele Boxing gym in Las Vegas. Bronco Billy took photos and helped pass out presents to the kids in the boxing program.

“I love the WBC and everything they do for their fighters and the organizations their united with,” said Billy Wright. “Richard Steele is a good friend of mine and he’s doing a wonderful job helping these kids get off the street with his boxing program. The WBC Cares is close to my heart and I’m happy that I was invited to this event. Karim Mayfield makes ring return November 8 in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (October 21, 2014) – Boxing returns to San Francisco as OPP & MoBetta Entertainment Present “Back To Business , War On The Wharf” Saturday November 2, 2014, at the Longshoreman’s Hall. In the main event, hometown hero, Karim “Hard Hitta” Mayfield (18-2-1, 11 KOs) and Michael Balasi (10-5, 7 KOs) of Honolulu, HI, will battle in an 8-round welterweight bout. The fight will commence at a catch-weight of 145 lbs. Mario Barrios Remains Undefeated With First Round KO

MISSISSIPPI (October 9, 2014) – San Antonio Texas’ Rising star, Mario Barrios remained undefeated with an impressive 1st round knockout over Mexico’s Abraham Rubio. Barrios, who’s managed by Al Haymon and advised by Bob Santos and Luis DeCubas Jr. improves his record to (6-0, 3 KOs).

After dropping Rubio with two brutal left hooks in the early part of round one, Barrios finished the job with a barrage of punches, forcing the referee to stop the bout. With the move to featherweight, Barrios feels his power is much more effective. Continue reading
